Sunday Services
Come along and join us at one of our services.
Everyone is welcome.
We meet at our church building on Jeavons Lane, CB23 6AF. Parking is available at the rear of the church, and there is plenty of street parking nearby. The postcode of the car park is CB23 6DZ.
You will receive a warm welcome from our Welcome Team, who will answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. There will be some singing to start, as well as prayers and a reading from the Bible. There will be a talk (some reflections) from one of the church's leaders, with a chance to discuss it further at the end of the service. You are free to observe or participate as much as you feel comfortable.
Sunday One
This is our 10.00am all-age service, held on the first Sunday of the month. The whole church community worship together. There are no creche, children's, or youth groups at this service. Everyone remains in the service, together.
Main Sunday Services
On the other Sundays of the month, there will be services at 9.30am and 11.00am, as usual.
-
9.30am Service – Quieter and more reflective, with no children’s groups running. This service is more traditional in style, with the music mainly consisting of hymns played on a keyboard.
-
11.00am Family Service – All-age worship with our crèche, children’s and youth groups available. This service is more contemporary in style, with the music sometimes being led by a worship team. Most of the songs are more modern than those played at the 9.30am service. The children and young people begin the service with their families before leaving for their groups.
Communion will be celebrated on at least two Sundays a month.
Tea, coffee and biscuits!
After our services, you are welcome to stay and enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits in our foyer. We have a fully stocked kitchen, friendly volunteers, and plenty of seating. Make sure you get a biscuit before the kids rush out to grab theirs!
August Services
Throughout August, we all meet together at one service at 10am. There are no creche, children's, or youth groups at this service. Everyone remains in the service, together..
Live Stream
We aim to livestream one service each week on:
This will usually be the 11am service. You do not need a Facebook account to watch it, and you can also catch up later.
We also upload a link to the service to our Listen Again page in the week following the service.
Attending a service does not entail being on camera; the camera is located at the rear of the church, high on the wall and focused solely on those leading and speaking.
