Here at Cambourne Church the church hall, foyer and annexe are available to hire.

Information about the Church Centre

Cambourne Church Centre consists of three rooms – The Main Hall, The Foyer and The Annexe along with;

a large commercial standard kitchen,
baby change room,
6 toilets
1 accessible toilet with baby toilet seats and potties.

All rooms have underfloor heating.

The large commercial standard kitchen adjoins the foyer and has a connecting serving hatch.

The kitchen is well-equipped with;

Cutlery and crockery
6 gas burner cooker with gas oven
Large water boiler urn
2 sinks
Commercial style steriliser
Kettle
Plenty of work space
The right-hand fridge in the kitchen is for the use of hirers during their session times, but users are asked to take any perishable foodstuffs home and not leave them in the kitchen.
Please note there is no freezer space.

Please note that hirers will need to bring their own refreshments and tea towels as these are not provided by the church.
There is no internet in the building.
The main toilet and kitchen facilities are only accessible from the foyer – there is no direct access from the main hall.

The Annexe

The annexe is a self-contained unit and there is normally no access between the annexe and the foyer. The annexe has 1 disabled access toilet with a baby change unit. There is a small kitchen area comprising of;

1 water urn
Mugs
Glasses
Jug
Plates
Trays
Small amount of cutlery

Please note that hirers will need to bring their own refreshments and tea towels as these are not provided by the church.

Hours for Hire

All rooms in the church building will be available for hire from 09.00 Mon-Fri until 22.00 and must be vacated by 22.30 and Saturdays from 08.30 until 22.30 and must be vacated by 23.00.
Sunday bookings can only be in connection with church activities.
The kitchen is not available for separate hire.

Hire charges (per hour)

The hire fees for the main hall include the full use of the kitchen. However, if the hirer is using the kitchen for catering purposes, please indicate this on the booking form.

Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Church.

When & where does the church meet?

We hold two services in the Cambourne Church Centre on Sunday mornings, at 9.30am and at 11am. Any changes to this will be shared on our Facebook page or shown on the calendar here.

The 9.30 service is more traditional in style with the music mainly consisting of hymns played on a keyboard.
The 11am service is more contemporary in style with the music being lead by a worship team. Most of the songs are more modern than those played at the 9.30 service.

There is limited parking available to the rear of the church building. The postcode of the car park is CB23 6DZ.

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. There will be some singing to start with as well as some prayers and a reading from the bible. There will be a talk (some reflections) from one of the leaders of the church, with a chance to discuss it further at the end of the service.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after the service where there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.

What is there for children and young people at church?

We have a fantastic programme for the children and young people at the Church. Children and young people stay with their families at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the morning. Someone will announce when the children and young people need to go to their programme. We have young church for those from Yr R - Yr 6 and a youth group called Xtreme for our young people in years 7-13. There is a creche in the church foyer for younger children.

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all!
You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
