House Groups meeting in the evenings...

Like Christians around the world, and throughout the ages we value meeting outside Sunday gatherings in smaller groups to read the Bible, pray and to relate our faith to the world around.

The Jeavons Lane Group

At the Tuesday group, we enjoy studying the Bible together and teasing out the relevance it has to our lives, as well as supporting each other and building one another up in faith.

The Lancaster Gate Group

The main focus of the Wednesday group is to encourage each other to grow as disciples of Jesus. Most weeks we’ll be exploring a bible passage in depth, with plenty of discussion. But roughly every six weeks we spend an evening focussed more on prayer and reflection. With such a wide mix of backgrounds and experiences, we are learning about different styles of prayer by using them as we find new ways of worshiping God together.  New members welcome.

For our weekly bible-studies we use material from a variety of well-recognised sources, including Spring Harvest and Book-by-Book, with members of the group taking an active role in leading the 'welcome', the discussions, and our time for prayer, reflection, or (usually spoken) worship. We are a group of diverse ages and backgrounds that has started meeting in 2011.

On Thursday 23rd February a new housegroup will be meeting at the home of Sean and Irma Shaik, This group will be studying the famous book by Rick Warren The Purpose Driven Life. Many people and churches testify to having found this most helpful and challenging. Do join us if you can.
