Our children and young people are a very important part of our church and we are excited about the work we are doing with them.
Young Church is held during the Sunday family worship service and is for children up to
age 11 (end of school year 6). This includes a creche for babies and toddlers.
Xtreme is our youth group for young people who are at secondary school. They meet during the Sunday family worship service.
Child Protection Policy and Leaders
All Young Church and Youth leaders are CRB checked and Cambourne Church has a Child Protection Policy which we take very seriously. The recommended leader : child ratios are strictly adhered to. All leaders are expected to take part in a yearly Child Protection course.
All of the Young Church groups rely on people volunteering to be leaders and ‘go on the rota’. We try to organise this so that leaders take groups about 4 times a term, rather than every week.
